Cheryl Hutton
Cheryl is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP), bringing over a decade of experience to the mental health field.
With an eclectic approach, Cheryl meets clients exactly where they are. She believes people do well when they can—meaning, if someone is struggling, it’s not because they don’t want change. It’s often because they need the right tools or support to navigate their way forward.
Cheryl’s goal? To align clients with their true values and help them get curious, not furious about their challenges. She encourages clients to look at how their own actions might play a role in their current situation and to focus on what they can control. In her words, “Let’s put you back in the driver’s seat of your own life.”
For Cheryl, life’s challenges are opportunities for growth. She emphasizes building resilience by validating each person’s experiences and learning from the past—not letting it define us. “Our past doesn’t define who we are; it’s our consistent actions that say the most about us.”
