With 8 years of experience working in substance/sex addiction recovery, betrayal and infidelity trauma work, virtual and in-person counselling services, clinical assessment and crisis management, I have found two things to be true:
1. Connection to others is necessary, but connection to self is number one
2. All of us are doing the best we can with what we have to navigate this thing called life, but we could all use some help.

So how do we do that?
Emotional Focused Therapy provides an opportunity to peel back the layers on understanding attachment theory - aka - the way we show up in relationship.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy gives us the tangible tools to build emotional capacity, to understand our emotional landscape and develop a toolbox of skills to prioritize nervous system regulation.
Pair these together with Somatic Therapy and you have a holistic approach to the therapy process with a focus of deep sense of safety within self.

More than My Work
I am a forever student, farm wife, momma and a gal who values connection and authenticity whether it comes in the form of catch up (with a good coffee of course), sharing space with a room full of yogis on their mats, or the therapeutic space. My passion is found in creating an atmosphere to whole-heartedly share our experiences of living this life; the joy, sorrow, pain, highlights and everything in between.
