Mikaela Grigg
Are you feeling concerned about your child’s well-being? Overwhelmed by the demands of parenthood? Or maybe you are finding yourself contending with the realities of your own childhood now that you have become a parent yourself? Navigating all the changes, transitions and difficulties that parenting brings into your daily life can be daunting, and many people find themselves struggling to find balance, understand who they are in this new role and find ways to meet their own needs while also caring for their family.
Whether it’s for you, your child, or your family, I’m committed to supporting you through these complex issues with compassion, understanding and patience. I approach the therapeutic relationship as a partnership and healing as a journey, recognizing that you are expert and in charge of the destination while I am walking beside you, offering guidance, tools and support in healing. I specialize in working with childhood experiences; I provide therapeutic supports to children as well as helping adults to heal from their own childhoods or other hurts as they parent their children. From adjusting to the complexities of a new parent role, to seeking guidance on managing your child’s needs, to support in healing from your own childhood experiences, I can support you through evidence based therapeutic interventions and practical strategies.
I am here to help you to navigate life’s challenges, find ways of coping that work for you, and foster more positive and connected relationships with the people in your life. My goal is to empower my clients so they can live life with confidence, increased understanding and insight, and tools to foster a nurturing environment where both you and your family can thrive. Let’s work together to navigate these challenges and create a balanced, fulfilling life!

More than My Work
I am a reality tv connoisseur – once the day is over and kids are in bed, I love nothing more than curling up in bed and watching the women of Bravo fight with one another.
